In 2021 Simplant Training partnered withDarby Tech Ltd. and JBA Engineering, world class training equipment manufacturer in the UK, for the development of an innovation in industrial training delivery starting with the process technology Sector.
We use pre-existing Darby Tech plant processes, power, and production equipment to outfit modular sections to adapt to fit with modern industry practices. Training oriented design engineering and industrial engineering by Darby and JBA Engineering allows us to deliver economic viability at a five to one ratio over modern plant construction.
Equipment and TBLSS Learning Stations can be applied as appropriate to client input on the area of study and equipment installation of choice. “Our equipment is engineered and designed to match the need, rather than a need seeking to find suitable equipment!”
Our Subject Matter Experts, Process Engineers, and Field Associates identify, research, analyze, create, ergonomically place, and validate each training task opportunity to be arranged in cluster fashion on board the workplace structures created for the TBLSS Learning Stations, or our exclusive Task Based Learning Station System. Industry typical electronic template forms identify each exercise, procedure, activity, and location where process equipment comprise training opportunities to be engineered for mounting devices and elements to meet the required tasks.
All tasks within the simulated plant modular structures in versatile configurations create the process system environment for state-of-the-art industrial workforce training. Throughout the structures directional piping labels and Q codes are placed for instant student lessons on all points of safety, process elements, and devices.

SimPlant™ POST PLANTRONICS Series Trainers for process technology programs begin with the basic to complex hands-on tools and plant operations on board the 1360-HPOST, Hands- on Process Operator Skills Trainer in semester 1 and 2. The 1400-MSPOST Separation Process in semester 2 and 3 with PLC Control. And the 1500-MDPOST Distillation Tower in semester 3 and 4, with off-site control room, and Delta V DCS Control. All together tasks designed into the equipment curriculum match 6 of the 7 NAPTA core courses found in the AAS Degree program.
